The Tigers released their 2008 Spring Training schedule. The Detroit Free Press has a better view of the games but nothing really exciting.
I’m looking at going to a few games down there this year but there are not many prospects left to look at. Detroit faces Division rivals Cleveland early on so neither team will have their key players out there yet. This will be the last year that Cleveland plays in the Grapefruit League before they move to Arizona in 2009.

When will the Tigers release their 2009 Spring training schedule so I can make arrangements in Florida before everybody else does? Any help would be appreciated. George Thanks !!!
Unfortunatly they don’t release the schedule until a month or so before the games begin. On the positive side, most of the cities where they would play will be close by.
I went to Lakeland this past spring training and went to one game in Lakeland and one in Dunedin. Dunedin was about an hour drive with the Tampa traffic.
