Danny Knobler is suggesting that the Dodgers could be a place that'd want Inge.

http://blog.mlive.com/tigersinsider/2007/12/the_trade_a_day_later.html

Also the possibility of Cabrera at first and Guillen at third to get rid of some of the defensive issues.

I think a solution for the Brandon Inge dilemma may be coming into view. There seems to be some talk in Philly about trading for him to shore up their 3B situation. Managemet there has been trying to upgrade there since mid last season, so it may not be just idle chatter.

I'd agree, not only 'what are' players but one that is 24 and one that is 25. That's not a huge difference in age than Maybin and Miller. The major difference is money to sign Cabrera and Willis.

As for DLC, I was impressed with him as well. Goldstein said in his article that it is expected that he will be in the Marlins bullpen next year.

It gets scarey when a lot of potential is moved in a trade. However, getting two "what are" players for 6 "what if" players is always a good thing in my book.

I saw De la Cruz pitch several times in Toledo last year. He has amazing stuff, and threw four different pitches in the games I saw. However, he is a long ways away from being major league material. His control is not there, and he is one of the worst fielding pitchers I have ever seen.
I am a little dissapointed to think of what he may have been for Detroit, but not upset that he went at all.
I am more concerned about the depth at catcher withouth Rabelo.
