Tigers faring well in All-Star balloting

MLB.com has released the current totals on All-Star balloting for the American League today and the Tigers are faring very well. For infield there is a Tiger in the Top 5 for each position and 2 in the Top 15 for the outfield.

Ivan Rodriguez is leading AL catchers with 370,322 and a margin of 41,348 votes. For the outfield, the Top 3 are well ahead of the rest of the pack but Magglio Ordonez is only 16,756 votes from moving from 7th place to 4th place.

One last point of note, Sean Casey (161,436) has more votes than Brandon Inge (122,149) though this is likely due to his previous teams such as Cincinnati. You have until June 28th to vote so make sure to get out and vote so Jim Leyland has some familiar faces to manage!
