It has been raining here most of the day here in Detroit but hopefully it will lighten up enough to get a game in. Nate Robertson will make his seventh start and go for his fourth win against a team whom he has had much success. Throughout his career Nate is 4-2 with a 2.34 ERA in 6 starts against the Mariners. Additionally Robertson is off to the best start of his career not allowing any more than 3 runs in any outing.

Baek will start for Seattle and it will be the first any Tiger batter has faced him. This will be only his fourth start of the year, two of which were short outings in which he struggled and one a 6 inning, 1 earned run, 6 strikeout appearance. With the full Tiger lineup seeming to come together and the last slumps starting to wear-off this games seems like a win.

Baseball, being what it is, you can never know.
