Nate Robertson (2-1, 2.05 ERA) vs Ramon Ortiz (3-1, 2.48 ERA)

Hopefully the Tigers game will go off without a hitch weather-wise tonight. Nate Robertson had his start pushed off a day after the rain-out of the Tigers vs White Sox match up from yesterday. This will be the Tigers first meeting against the Twins this year.

Numerous outlets have made quite a bit out of the Tigers success against the Twins head-to-head but this is not the Twins team from early last year. They started off very hot but have seemed to sizzle out a bit in the last week or so.

Ramon Ortiz has been off to a strong start so far but hasn’t had the toughest of competition thus far. He did have a strong outing against the Yankees where he pitched 8 innings giving up a single earned run and three hits.

Nate has been off to a great start himself so gear up for a nice showdown tonight.
