White Sox starter Mark Buehrle pitched a no-hitter against the Texas Rangers this evening. I listened to the last inning once I saw that he had one going through eight. He allowed a single walk (to Sammy Sosa) and racked up eight strikeouts, very impressive performance.

Buehrle had a 4.32 ERA going into the night and it was his first win of the season. The Tigers will not face him this weekend but instead face John Danks, Jose Contreras and Jon Garland.
