Detroit Tigers (6-3) vs Toronto Blue Jays (5-4)
Rogers Centre @ 7:05pm
Well I’m back in town and looking forward to getting to see an entire game. The Tigers will face the Blue Jays tonight featuring an Opening Day rematch of Jeremy Bonderman vs Roy Halladay. Detroit is also looking to extend their winning streak to four games as well as jump starting their offense.
Halladay was a challenge for the Tiger offense on Opening Day pitching six innings giving up six hits and two earned runs with four strikeouts. Detroit had serious issues making good contact which has continued through now. Hopefully their habit of timely hitting will continue.
Bonderman struggled in his outing against the Blue Jays but was impressive after giving up three runs in the first inning. Jeremy is looking for his first win of the season.
