Good article available over at the Baltimore Sun on Jamie Walker’s Orioles teammates thoughts on him and an update on how he’s settling into the swing of things in Baltimore. Suffice to say he stands out there as much as he did here in Detroit. His teammate, Chad Bradford, summed him up in three words:

Backwoods, hillbilly, fun-loving.

The idea of a perfect day for me would be out in the middle of nowhere, listening to the whippoorwills, no TV, just somebody playing music. Maybe a bug zapper. Them are pretty cool.

Jamie has been lights out this spring allowing a single run and only three hits over eight innings of play. Maybe if only Dombrowski could have thrown a nice new bug zapper into the deal we wouldn’t be discussing who will get the last bullpen slot.
