While it has been pretty slow this past week there has been a number of goings on around the AL Central and here in Detroit.
- Ozzie Guillen believes his Chi-Sox rotation is ready for action. It’s good he has faith as most off season reviews are not good for Chicago. Last years slide by their rotation has been attributed by many to the number of innings pitched by each rotation member in the previous years road to the World Series. They have lost Garcia and Gavin Floyd is a big question mark.
- Many Tigers have been busy back at home this off season: Craig Monroe in Texarkana and Chris Shelton in Utah.
- Tigers tickets are Hot Hot Hot. I got my bill and payed it already. It was one bill I really don’t mind paying.. can’t say I love it but I don’t mind :)
- Twins gave Joe Mauer his due: $33M over 4 years. This was expected by most, there really wasn’t much of an option for the Twins to tie up a number of their stars and this could affect their ability to keep other players moving forward.
- Cleveland fans are watching their new bullpen with a very close eye. Cleveland had a great off season and on paper have addressed what they needed to win. We’ll see if that translates to the field.
On to Spring Training!
