I was a little surprised to see Hernandez and Campusano ranked so high. I did not expect a rule 5 guy to make the top 10 but he has outstanding stats which is what BP is about. Hernandez is making every top 10 now but I had not seen him ranked as high as #3. He's an interesting prospect.

I don't like the logo, per se, but I like the idea behind it. It was just a bit, well, minor league. Then again, it is the minor leagues. But I'm fine with the change.

According to an article in Baseball America: "the Flying Tigers logo captures the organization's unique military history. Tigertown USA, the organization's spring training home, was formerly a World War II training site for U.S. and British troops.

"Lakeland's new logo, featuring a fang-baring Tiger with pilot's wings, is only part of its new look. The team's uniforms will feature a patch displaying a P-40 fighter plane and their road uniforms will change from traditional gray to military tan. Manager Kevin Bradshaw will wear a special cap recognizing him as "commander" and pitchers will add a star to their cap after each victory--much like World War II fighter pilots' tradition of painting a symbol on their plane for each kill.

It is a bit much but at least there is an understandable rationale.
